IT Support Engineer

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

• 6-9 years of experience as an IT Support Engineer;
  
• Proven experience (3+ years preferred) providing technical support in a distributed environment;
• Expertise in batch scheduling using Control-M;
• Strong understanding of distributed web and client-server architectures;
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with Oracle databases;
• Proficiency in Unix and Windows scripting;
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Highly organized and detail-oriented;
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service;
• Experience with ServiceNow (incident and change management) is highly desirable;
• Experience with collaborative tools (Confluence, Office 365, Teams) is preferred;
• Fluency in French (written and spoken) is mandatory.
