Data Engineer

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

• Between 3 to 6 years of experience;
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, or a similar area;
• 4+ years of experience with Power BI;
• Analytical mindset, to analyze large amounts of data and identify patterns, trends, seasonality and other data behaviors;
• Clearly communicate data insights, findings and results to internal and external stakeholders;
• Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory);
• Able to be quickly autonomous, proactive;
• Availability to travel abroad for short periods of time, as required.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with Engineering on ETL pipelines;
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R;
• Good understanding of SQL and VBA;
• Good understanding of SSAS, SSIS and Azure;
• Previous experience on financial area;
• Knowledge in agile methodologies and tools (Scrum/Kanban);
• Good level of French.
