API Gateway Specialist

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for an API Gateway Specialist to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Main Requirements:

• Between 6 and 9 years of experience in a similar role;
• REST API: Experience in developing, maintaining, and interacting with REST APIs, including familiarity with the verbs used, API design, and related tools such as Postman;
• API Gateway Knowledge: Familiarity with API Gateway solutions, such as Axway, Kong, APIGEE, etc;
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and JavaScript are essentials, as it is widely used within our systems. Groovy is a nice to have;
• Linux Proficiency: A foundational understanding of Linux will help you navigate our infrastructure more effectively;
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with XLR, XLD, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and OpenShift is advantageous for supporting our CI/CD pipeline;
• Soft Skills: Effective communication, time management, and a collaborative spirit are crucial. A willingness to learn is also important, as you may encounter difficulties in finding extensive documentation on the vendor side.

Other Requirements:

• On-call availability;
• Good level of English – minimum B2 level;
• French is a plus;
• Ability to keep up with a demanding and fast-paced environment;
• Critical Thinking;
• Strong prioritization skills;
• Ability to work in a team.
