Senior Test Engineer

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a solid understanding of software testing methodologies;
• Knowledge on banking or financial activities;
• Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation;
• Experience in using XRay for test management, including planning, executing, and reporting on test cases;
• Experience integrating XRay with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) to automate test execution and reporting;
• Knowledge of different test methods in an agile context (manual tests, automated tests, functional tests, regression tests);
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress. Playwright, JUnit, TestNG) and experience in creating automated test scripts that integrate with XRay;
• Good knowledge of SQL;
• Ability to analyze and understand functional and technical specifications to create relevant test cases and ensure complete test coverage;
• Good written and verbal communication skills, both in English and Portuguese;
• French language is a plus;
• Ability to communicate effectively with the squad and other stakeholders.
