Java Developer

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Java Developer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

What are we looking for?

• Between 3 and 6 years of experience as a Java Developer;
• Experience with Java (Web API's);
• Experience with application build automation tool Maven;
• Experience with Angular/Javascript/Typescript;
• Experience with Python;
• Experience in working with Bitbucket and branching strategy;
• Experience with Xl Release/XL Deploy;
• Passion for continuous improvement and learning;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• English fluency (mandatory).

Other Requirements:

• Remain up to date about concepts and best practices of programming;
  
• Have experience in support technologies used in the development process like: Version Control (GIT), Task Manager (JIRA) and Deployment e Delivery (Bitbucket pipelines, Gitlab pipelines, Docker, etc);
  
• Have domain about data manipulation technologies (Scripts, SQL Language, Relational Databases, etc);
  
• Familiarity with software architecture styles (Monolith, SOA , Microservices), and patterns (Layered, Onion, Hexagonal, Clean Code);
  
• Have experience working in an test-driven development environment;
  
• Having experience with containers is a plus;
  
• Have experience working in an agile environment.
