Infrastructure Engineer/Architect

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.

We are seeking a  Infrastructure Engineer/Architect to join our team in Porto (hybrid).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

•  Hands-on experience with Linux system administration (e.g. RHEL, SLES);
  
•  Familiarity with OS performance tuning for low-latency applications;
  
•  Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies;
  
•  Work experience with server hardware, data center build-outs, OS migrations;
  
•  Comfortable with scripting languages (Python, shell, etc.);
  
•  Proven track record supporting mission-critical server infrastructure in production environments;
  
•  Familiarity with provisioning tools(Ansible, Puppet) is a plus;
  
•  Windows, NAS administration is a plus;
  
•  Strong desire to learn new technologies.

Key Accountabilities

•  Provide infrastructure expertise to the software development team;
  
•  Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks to achieve consistency in a heavily distributed environment;
  
•  Responsible for researching emerging technologies and creating technology roadmap.
