AWS Security Engineer
In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.
We are looking for an AWS Security Engineer to join a project for one of our clients, based in Porto (hybrid model).
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven experience working with AWS technologies.
- 5+ years of experience with Python, JSON, XML, Powershell.
- Strong experience designing robust security architectures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS networking services, AWS Security HUB.
- 5+ years of experience with high availability, geo-redundancy, and failover technologies in AWS.
- In-depth understanding of database resiliency, disaster recovery, and geo-replication techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- English: B2.
Nice to Have:
- AWS (security engineer and or architect).
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and ownership for AWS environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication.
- Assist with development, testing, configuration, deployment, and installation of AWS solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration and performance issues related to AWS solutions.
- Implement security baselines according to AWS security benchmarks and AWS foundational framework.
- Ensure security best practices are followed, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities.
- Ensure configuration resiliency for all AWS assets.
- Develop detailed documentation for the team and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Ensure continuous learning and improvements within the team, contributing to effective collaboration.
