NetSecOps Consultant

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.

We are looking for an NetSecOps Consultant to join a project for one of our clients, based in Porto (hybrid model).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation workflows for network configuration, backup, compliance checks, and inventory management.
  
• Create and manage configuration templates using Jinja2 to generate dynamic network configurations.
  
• Interact with automation platforms (e.g., Ansible Automation Platform) to trigger workflows and troubleshoot failed automation runs.
  -Integrate network and security devices using REST APIs, handling authentication, data parsing (JSON/XML), and response validation.
  
• Support automation of security policies and configuration management for platforms such as FortiGate and Check Point.

Requirements

• Strong Linux fundamentals, including command-line tools, file permissions, package management, and basic bash scripting.
  
• Experience with Jinja2 templating, including variables, loops, filters, and conditional configuration rendering.
  
• Basic Python scripting skills and understanding of YAML configuration files.
  
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts, including Git version control and configuration templates.
  
• Understanding of REST APIs and automation concepts related to network configuration, compliance, and device management.
