IT Operations Analyst

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.

We are looking for an IT Operations Analyst  to join a project based in Porto (On-site).

Requirements

• Degree, CET, or equivalent qualification in a computer-related field.
  
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  
• Knowledge of Operating Systems such as Windows and Linux.
  
• Familiarity with databases (MS SQL) and monitoring tools (e.g., IBM Mainframe z/OS, network monitoring tools).
  
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for IT operations related to Central Securities Depositories.
  
• Monitor systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure operational stability.
  
• Investigate incidents, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate when necessary.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams across Porto, Oslo, and Copenhagen to resolve operational issues.
  
• Follow operational procedures and contribute to continuous service improvement within a 24/7 shift environment.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of financial markets and post-trade instruments.
  
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and framework.
  
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JCL).
  
• Exposure to security tools such as Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.
