Senior ELK Developer

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Senior ELK Developer to work in project in Porto (Hybrid) or Lisbon (Hybrid).

What are we looking for?

• Strong Experience with the ELK Stack;
• Elasticsearch: Proven ability to write complex Query DSL, design index mappings, and an understanding of cluster management concepts (e.g., ILM);
• Kibana: Solid skills in building dashboards and visualizations to answer complex business questions;
• Logstash/Beats: Practical experience in configuring data ingestion pipelines;
• Solid Proficiency in Java & Spring Boot: Extensive experience building and maintaining robust backend services and RESTful APIs;
• Mentorship Aptitude: Demonstrable experience or a strong interest in mentoring junior/mid-level developers and performing constructive code reviews;
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Minimum English B2 level and preferably with some knowledge of French;
• CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins, Bitbucket, XL Deploy, XL Release, or similar platforms.

Additionally, the following qualifications and abilities would be highly advantageous:

• Experience with frontend development, particularly Angular;
• Familiarity with Kafka and PL/SQL;
• Background in financial services, especially payments;
• Proficiency in English at C1 level and French at B2 level or higher;
• Relevant certifications in software development or agile methodologies;
• Experience with agile project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
