SQL Database Developer

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.

We are looking for an SQL Database Developer to join a project for one of our clients, based in Porto (hybrid model).

Responsibilities

• Develop and support SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database structures.
• Participate in data migration and ETL processes using tools such as SSIS.
• Optimize query performance and support database tuning activities.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
• Ensure database integrity, security, backup, and recovery best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server development.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server 2016 or later.
• Experience with ETL processes and SSIS.
• Solid understanding of database performance and query optimization.
• Experience with data migration projects is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in international teams.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
