Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer for a long term role in this hybrid project in Lisbon or Porto.

Key Responsibilities:

• You develop reliable data products as the basis for innovative, user-oriented solutions for data analysis and prediction;
  
• To accomplish this, you design, test and implement ETL loading routes in the Snowflake Data Platform;
  
• You design and expand data models as required;
  
• You analyze business requirements and create technical concepts and documentation as a basis for implementing the associated ETL loading routes;
  
• You coordinate further development of solutions along with the dedicated departments within our organization;
  
• You are jointly responsible for monitoring, quality assurance and error analysis/remediation in our data platform;
  
• You constantly pursue optimization potentials for our analytics solutions, aiming to implement them

Requirements:

• You have a degree in (business) informatics, engineering or a comparable qualification;
  
• You already have experience as a data engineer or in comparable roles in the data management environment of a data warehouse or big data;
  
• You are familiar with the relevant backend technologies in the field of analytics, in particular Snowflake and Talend;
  
• You are an absolute expert in SQLs, ideally you are also familiar with programming languages such as Python and API interfaces;
  
• You are a team player and you already have experience with agile working methods, ideally Scrum;
  
• You are enthusiastic about revolutionizing the daily work of users with your contribution and thus significantly supporting data-driven decision-making processes and have experience in machine learning and AI;
  
• Confident and business fluent communication in English, optionally German skills round off your profile.
