Data Analyst/Data Engineer (French-speaker)

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, that currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Data Analyst/Data Engineer (French-speaker) to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field;
• Between 6 and 9 years of professional experience;
• SQL: Advanced SQL skills are mandatory (complex queries, joins, optimizations, stored procedures);
• Data Modeling: Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehouse concepts (Kimball methodology);
• ETL Tools: Direct experience with Stambia is a major asset. Otherwise, solid experience with other ETL tools (Talend, Informatica, SSIS, Data Factory, dbt) and a strong willingness to adapt to Stambia;
• French Language: Minimum B2 level (Professional working proficiency is required as you will interact with French-speaking stakeholders);
• English Language: Fluent (written and spoken) for team collaboration and global documentation.
  

Nice-to-Have:

• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX formulas and Power Query/M, is highly valued;
• Prior experience working in the banking, finance, or insurance sector (understanding of financial instruments, regulatory compliance, risk management, or retail banking data) is highly appreciated;
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP;
• Knowledge of Python or Unix/Linux scripting.
