Senior Java Developer (French Speaker)

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, that currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer (French Speaker) to work in project in Porto (Hybrid). 

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
  
• More than 6 years of experience as a Java Developer;
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (recent versions) and the latest versions of Spring Boot (Spring Boot 3.x is a strong plus);
• Practical knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes;
• Practical knowledge of Maven, SonarQube;
• Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle;
  
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have: 

• Previous experience working within the banking or financial sector (specifically on transactional or highly secure systems);
  
• Good knowledge of PHP or .NET to help support or migrate legacy components.
