Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer for a project in Lisbon area to work remotely.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar;
  
• 4+ years of software development experience;
  
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and Object-Oriented Design;
  
• Excellent coding skills in one or more of these technologies is a plus: C#, .NET, Java and Go;
  
• Knowledge of cloud systems (e.g: AWS, Azure), Docker and Kubernetes (K8s);
  
• Knowledge of Relational & non-relational databases (e.g: Aurora, DynamoDB, Redis);
  
• Availability to be part of the 24x7 on-call rotation;
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar) integrated into your daily workflow;
• Proficiency in prompt engineering for code generation, debugging, refactoring, and documentation;
  
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.
