Senior Power BI Developer

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics, with a strong focus on the Microsoft BI Stack;
• Proven ability to write, debug, and fine-tune complex SQL queries (specifically utilizing subqueries, CTEs, JOINs, UNIONs, and aggregation functions);
• Demonstrated experience in adapting queries for historical data extraction using dynamic date parameters and injecting parameters directly into custom SQL queries;
• Deep expertise in creating both foundational and highly complex DAX formulas to support advanced business logic;
• Strong understanding of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, gateway configurations, row-level security (RLS), and workspace administration;
• Good level of English language.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus):

• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or equivalent legacy certifications (e.g., DA-100, MCSE) is highly preferred;
• Proficiency in French is a strong asset to facilitate collaboration with French-speaking stakeholders.
