RedHat Linux Sysadmin

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a RedHat Linux Sysadmin to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Responsibilities:

• Linux Server installation (virtual and physical), support, performance analysis, tuning and troubleshooting (RedHat Enterprise Linux 6/7);
• Material and software infrastructure maintenance related to servers operating systems on Windows (+ cluster Windows), Windows Hyper-V, VMware, vSphere, AIX (+GPFS), Solaris (+ cluster ORACLE Solaris), Linux Red Hat (+ cluster Symantec) and Citrix XenApp solutions;
• Provide support for live production systems (physical and virtual systems);
• Users and application team’s assistance and support;
• ITIL management of requests and changes within company’s framework;
• Planned technical operations coordination and realization (server patching, data migration);
• Work with the incidents, problems, performance optimizations and applications;
• Participate in projects around production improvement;
• L2 and L3 Support on Linux infrastructure;
• Participate in the structural constraints and the interventions (business and off-business hours);
• On call shifts.
