Tibco BW Developer

Here you will work in the development of high-tech systems integration services in areas such as digital transformation and network automation for different sectors of activity, but in particular for telecommunications.

We are looking for a Tibco BW Developer for a long term role in this project in Lisbon or Porto.

About the role:

This position represents an opportunity to be a TIBCO BW developer and undertake different responsibilities including designing, documenting, implementing, testing, deploying high-quality software, and using industry best practices for code management, testing, and CI/CD. This role will allow joining and developing technical and business knowledge.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop new components, and maintain and evolve existing ones according to the team priorities and product roadmap;
  • Active role in team software quality assurance, best practices, and agile methodology;
  • Work on definition and implementation of automated tests;
  • Helping and coaching junior team members;
  • Work closely with business sponsors to ensure the solution meets the needs;
  • Take responsibility for the software delivery by ensuring quality and scope expectations are met;
  • Contribute to the technical design and ensure all aspects of the system architecture are well documented;
  • Work closely with partner technology teams and collaborate effectively.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology or a related field, or substantial practical experience in software delivery at an advanced level;
  • Between 2 to 4 years of development experience in the Integration area (with Tibco BW);
  • TIBCO Business Works Container Edition (both on-premises and PaaS versions); TIBCO Business Works 5; TIBCO EMS;
  • XML, XSLT, JSON, REST;
  • Order management;
  • Creating APIs using REST and SOAP;
  • Docker, Cloud platforms;
  • Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams and Clients;
  • Teamwork skills but also sense of autonomy;
  • Motivation for international projects and availability if travel is included;
  • Willingness to collaborate with other players;
  • Strong communication skills.
