Data Engineer

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Porto (hybrid model).

Key responsibilities:

• Knowledge in Data Governance, Data Pipelines, Data quality, Data Products;
  
• Ability to design scalable and efficient data solutions on AWS, considering best practices for cloud architecture and infrastructure;
  
• Experience with relational databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, RedShift) and NoSQL databases;
  
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions for automating and managing data workflows;
  
• Knowledge of ETL tools and experience working with large volumes of data, with experience in messaging systems like Kafka;
  
• Knowledge in Apache Spark is a plus;
  
• Ability to connect with other tech teams, across development, solution architecture, quality assurance, product management, Cloud & DevOps;
  
• Capable of evolving into a technical lead role, with excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
  
• Ability to analyze requirements, define technical approaches, and propose innovative solutions to complex problems;
  
• Fluent in English.
