Senior PowerCenter Developer

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Senior PowerCenter Developer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• 3-5 years of experience in ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter;
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and database technologies (SQL, Oracle, etc.);
• Proficiency in French (both written and spoken) is required;
• English proficiency is a plus;
• Experience with data modeling and data governance practices;
• Familiarity with other ETL tools or programming languages is a plus (e.g., Talend, Python);
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter;
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements;
• Optimize existing ETL workflows for performance and scalability;
• Ensure data integrity and quality through effective validation and testing processes;
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL processes;
• Document technical specifications, workflows, and processes;
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members;
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data integration and ETL tools.
