Application Support Engineer

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

• Between 3 and 6 years of experience in similar roles;
• Good knowledge on both Linux and Windows environments and systems administration;
• Knowledge of BMC/Control-M or other industrial scheduler;
• Good knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Python and/or PowerShell);
• Network security notions (Web based architecture, IHS, Apache, Proxy, Firewall, DMZ/Bastion);
• Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server);
• Experience with monitoring tools (ideally Zabbix);
• Knowledge of Hadoop (Datalake) and associated tools;
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration Platform (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence, XL Deploy, XL Release…);
  
• Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory);
• Ability to keep up with a demanding and fast-paced environment;
• Willingness to learn and evolve;
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to work in a team.
