Senior Project Manager

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area and will be able to work for a leading global trading platform that knows the importance of surveillance issues. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.

We are hiring a Senior Project Manager for a project in Lisbon (Hybrid).

Responsibilites:

  • Project Leadership: Drive the successful delivery of all project phases, from planning to execution, monitoring, and final delivery;
  • Stakeholder & Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment, satisfaction, and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Team Management: Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes;
  • Scope & Risk Management: Define, control, and manage project scope; proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks;
  • Budget & Financial Control: Manage and budget report, ensuring efficient and transparent use of resources;
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the project is delivered to the highest standards, meeting all predefined objectives, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Project Management certifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2, ScrumMaster preferred);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in end-to-end project management, ideally in public secttor environment;
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex project scopes under tight deadlines;
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory);
  • Hybrid work availability, with frequent presence in Lisbon.

Preferred Skills:

  • Agile Methodologies: Practical experience with Scrum, Kanban, or other iterative delivery frameworks;
  • Strategic Planning & Organization: Ability to structure and execute plans across multiple workstreams with precision;
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset and capacity to respond to challenges with resilience and creativity;
  • Change Management: Ability to manage resistance, align teams, and foster a culture of adaptability;
  • Influence & Motivation: Ability to inspire teams, mediate conflicts, and maintain engagement through all project stages.
