Senior Java Engineer (AI)

We are hiring a Senior Java Engineer (AI) for a project in Coimbra or Porto (hybrid).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar;
• 5+ years of experience with Java;
• Extensive and advanced development experience in Java and Spring Boot;
• Microservices architectures using brokers such as Kafka, NSQ or RabbitMQ;
• Comfortable with AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform as well as observability tools;
• Cloud-native platforms on AWS using Java and Spring Boot;
• AI-powered services that enhance customer interactions using agentic AI principles;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
