Full-Stack Developer (French Speaker)
This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer (French Speaker) to work in this project in Lisbon (Hybrid) or Porto (Hybrid).
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular;
- Proven experience in application migration or re-engineering projects in complex environments;
- Solid understanding of modern application architecture, RESTful APIs, and secure coding practices;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, propose improvements, and mentor other team members;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
- Fluent in French, with strong communication skills;
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills;
- Experience with Spring Boot migration is required.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and implement the migration of legacy applications to a modern architecture based on REST APIs, microservices, and Angular;
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular;
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to analyze requirements and propose effective technical solutions;
- Contribute to architectural choices, participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards and security best practices;
- Maintain and improve existing applications, handle incident resolution, and ensure operational stability;
- Identify and solve performance bottlenecks and technical debt;
- Mentor mid-level and junior developers and promote technical excellence within the team;
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos) and contribute to continuous delivery workflows.
