Software Engineer Tester

We are looking for a Software Engineer Tester to work in Braga, Coimbra or Lisbon (Hybrid).

Responsibilites:

• Communicating, and implementing the Test approaches;
  
• Understand the requirements and raise valid question;
  
• Collaborating and integrating with team members to ensure the delivery of a product to specification;
  
• Contribute to automated test frameworks to verify functional and non-functional requirements;
• Troubleshooting, finding critical bugs or verifying reported issues and identifying their underlying cause;
  
• Producing descriptive and concise reports that evidence the functionality of a product;
  
• Communicating status information and issues to a variety of stakeholders;
• Follow the best practices within the team

Essential:

• At least 2 years experience with testing native mobile applications on iOS or Android;
  
• Experience in writing tests with XCUITest or Espresso or other mobile testing framework;
  
• Experience in Swift or Kotlin/Java;
  
• Solid understanding of mobile testing practices & SDLC;
  
• Proven ability to collaborate and work closely with developers, UX designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality product delivery;
•  Great communication skills and experience in resolving cross-team issues;
  
• Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams with experience in planning, executing, and reporting on test strategies

Desirable:

• Experience with Pact contract testing;
  
• Experience using Qase or similar test management tool;
  
• Proficient in Jira & Confluence;
  
• Experience in configuring and running jobs in a Continuous Integration tool like Code build, Github Actions.
