Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid) or Lisbon (Hybrid).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field;
Between 6 and 9 years of professional experience;
Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Semarchy, Stambia, Talend, DataStage, or similar);
Ability to design and maintain data integration processes;
Proficient SQL skills;
Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake) and data modeling concepts;
Experience with VTOM or Virtual-M (or comparable job orchestration/workload automation tools);
Ability to schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs;
Knowledge of UNIX/Linux scripting (shell scripting, awk, sed, Python as a plus) for automation and data processing tasks;
Data engineering mindset: knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT patterns, data quality, data lineage, and metadata management;
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
French-speaking at least B2 level required;
Ability to collaborate with French-speaking stakeholders and teams;
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
