Data Engineer (Apache NiFi)

Here you will work in the development of high-tech systems integration services in areas such as digital transformation and network automation for different sectors of activity, but in particular for telecommunications.

We are currently looking for a Data Engineer with strong Apache NiFi experience to join a project with a strong focus on data integration and processing. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Apache NiFi;
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and distribution workflows;
• Integrate multiple data sources (APIs, databases, legacy systems, files, streaming platforms);
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and monitoring of data flows;
• Optimize performance and scalability of data solutions;
• Collaborate closely with Data, BI, and Software Engineering teams;
• Contribute to best practices in version control, CI/CD, and technical documentation;

Technical Requirements

• Solid experience with Apache NiFi;
• Strong understanding of data architecture and ETL/ELT concepts;
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases;
• Experience integrating REST APIs;
• Nice to have: Kafka, Python or Java and Docker / Kubernetes.

Working Model

• 100% remote project;
• Occasional visits to the office in Lisbon or Porto, when required.
