Embedded & Backend Systems

The project was developed within the nuclear technology and medical devices sector, focusing on the development and in-vitro validation of a real-time, in-vivo dosimetry solution to address the lack of accurate radiation monitoring in prostate and breast brachytherapy procedures.

We are looking for an Embedded & Backend Systems to work in this project in Aveiro.

Requirements:

• Experience in backend software development with Golang and Java/Python;
• Experience with Linux-based systems (Yocto / PetaLinux preferred);
• Strong understanding of real-time systems and data acquisition;
• Experience with SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, TCP/UDP, and embedded protocols;
• Experience with API development, microservices, and CI/CD;
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on code quality and performance;
• Strong experience with Git and professional version control workflows;
• Experience with software development, verification, and validation.
