Application Owner

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for an Application Owner to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Business Administration;
  • Previous experience in application management, product ownership, or a related role;
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies;
  • Experience with project management tools and techniques;
  • Fluent in English and French. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor application performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement;
  • Serve as the primary owner for assigned applications, ensuring they align with business objectives and user needs;
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring that applications meet functional and non-functional specifications;
  • Act as a liaison between users and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications;
  • Oversee the implementation of application updates, patches, and new features, ensuring minimal disruption to user;
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to application configurations, processes, and procedures;
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with IT support for resolution;
  • Ensure applications comply with company policies, industry regulations, and security standards;
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain application integrity and performance;
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
