Linux System Administrator

Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations. 

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.

We are looking for an Linux System Administrator to join a project for one of our clients, based in Porto (hybrid model).

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Linux servers in both stand-alone and clustered environments.
  
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate infrastructure and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement business requirements, security policies, and network configurations.
  
• Ensure availability, performance, and security of Linux systems in line with business needs.
  
• Guarantee that all changes in the infrastructure are properly managed through automation platforms and aligned with compliance standards.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience in Linux systems administration.
  
• Experience with Linux clustering and automation tools (preferably Ansible).
  
• Solid understanding of infrastructure services and networking topologies.
  
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) and ability to quickly learn new concepts.
