Data Engineer (french speaker)

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Data Engineer (french speaker) to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Technical Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field;
  
• More than 6 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer;
  
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools, such as: Semarchy, Stambia, Talend, and/or DataStage;
  
• Ability to design and maintain data integration processes;
  
• Proficiency with SQL, relational databases, like: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and data modeling concepts;
  
• Previous experience with VTOM or Virtual-M, and ability to schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs;
  
• Knowledges of UNIX/Linux scripting, shell scripting, and Python, for automation and data processing tasks;
  
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT patterns, data quality, data lineage, and metadata management;
  
• Experience with cloud data platforms, cloud-native ETL tools, and big data technologies;
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices for data pipelines;
  
• Fluent in French and English.
