Application Security Specialist

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.

We are looking for an Application Security Specialist  to join a project based in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role;
• Strong experience with S-SDLC processes and secure application development practices;
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as Coverity, Polaris, Black Duck, GitGuardian, Wiz, OX Security, or Aikido;
• Experience implementing security automation in CI/CD environments (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps);
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and integrate comprehensive S-SDLC processes across enterprise platforms;
• Orchestrate and maintain enterprise security scanning ecosystem (SAST, SCA, secret detection, and cloud security tools);
• Implement and manage CI/CD security automation across multiple platforms;
• Lead vulnerability management processes, including triage, tracking, and remediation workflows;
• Conduct penetration testing and coordinate security assessments for critical applications.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Jira Data Center and API integrations for automation;
• Knowledge of JFrog Artifactory and third-party component governance;
• Experience with SBOM analysis and AppSec inventory management;
• Ability to develop security standards, guidelines, and training for development teams;
• Experience building custom security automation tools.
