Senior SRE Lead

We are hiring a Senior SRE Lead for a project in Almada (hybrid).

Requirements:

• Ensure the stability, performance and availability of distributed data systems such as Kafka, Cassandra;
  
• Act as a senior technical reference for relational databases, NoSQL platforms, search technologies and messaging;
• Support critical incidents, lead RCA investigations and help eliminate recurring production issues;
• Manage distributed clusters, including scaling, rebalancing, node decommissioning, tuning and lifecycle activities;
• Collaborate with engineering teams on upgrades, migrations and complex infrastructure changes;
• Build automation with Ansible and Terraform to standardize deployments, operations and patching;
• Maintain large-scale Big Data environments and contribute to operational best practices;
• Bring strong Linux/Unix administration skills;
• Bash scripting and hands-on experience with Redis, RabbitMQ and related technologies;
• Advanced level of English (min B2).
