Application Architect

In this project you will be working in a multicultural environment and with global positioning. With a strong focus on the customer, you will be able to contact with different industries and services such as Cybersecurity, Application Development and Maintenance, Cloud, Data & Intelligence, among others, always working on end-to-end solutions.

We are looking for a Application Architect for an hybrid project in Lisbon.

Skills: 

• Proven experience as an Application Architect or Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in application architecture, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs (OpenAPI), AsyncAPI, Kubernetes, Docker, and MongoDB, including data modelling.
• Good understanding of software architecture patterns such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture, CQRS, and Event Sourcing. Knowledge of IAM, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and application security is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, software engineering best practices, and knowledge of GDPR/EUDPR or other European data protection standards is a plus.
• European Union citizenship is mandatory, due to the nature of the projects.

Responsabilities: 

• Define and maintain the solution architecture for enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Design cloud-native, microservices-based architectures using modern technologies and best practices, supporting development teams throughout the software lifecycle.
• Establish architectural standards, guidelines, and design principles, promoting consistency, maintainability, and high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of architectural solutions and technical decisions.
• Contribute to technical governance, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and European project standards.
