Senior Databricks Data Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Databricks Data Engineer for a project for Lisbon or Porto (hybrid):
Requirements:
- Senior Data Engineer with over 8 years’ experience, including 4 years’ hands-on expertise with Databricks;
- Skilled in data integration, advanced modelling (dimensional, relational, Data Vault), optimisation and data quality;
- Designs and maintains robust pipelines with Databricks/Apache Spark, integrating multiple sources and enhancing performance through tuning, caching and indexing;
- Experienced in governance, security and Databricks Unity Catalog management, as well as cluster configuration and CI/CD (GitHub, Azure DevOps);
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python and PySpark, with knowledge across relational, NoSQL and modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP);
- Holds Databricks certifications and experienced in agile environments, delivering secure, scalable data solutions that enable BI, ML and AI;
- Highly collaborative, with strong communication, problem-solving abilities and a proactive, hands-on mindset.
