DB2/Mainframe analyst

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a DB2/Mainframe analyst to work in project in Porto (Hybrid) or Lisbon (Hybrid).

What are we looking for?

• Experience with Databases: DB2, SQL;
  
• Experience with Tools: JIRA for task tracking, DBeaver for data access;
  
• Additional Skills: Understanding of query execution plans on the mainframe and ability to read CDM (Conceptual Data Model);
  
• French (level C1) and English language are required.

Responsibilities: 

• Database Queries: Query DB2 databases (mainframe of the Equinoxe and MySYS systems) to respond to dataset requests;
  
• Request Management and Processing: Handle requests via Teams, Service Offerings, or the JDD inbox, as well as via SUN;
  
• Participation in the Continuous Improvement Plan: Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving service quality and efficiency;
  
• Backlog Monitoring: Participate in the resolution and follow-up of pending requests;
  
• Teamwork: Collaborate with the team to optimize service delivery;
  
• Knowledge Sharing: Document and share research and findings within the team.
