Senior Android Developer

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to work in Coimbra, Braga or Lisbon (Hybrid).

Requirements:

• Modern Android Core: Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with a deep understanding of the application lifecycle and reactive state management;
  
• Design-to-Code (Figma): Ability to translate Figma designs into functional UI, utilising Material 3 guidelines and custom View implementations where necessary;
  
• Advanced Styling: Strong experience with implementation of themes, styles, and custom layouts using XML (legacy) and Compose Theming (modern) for brand-consistent interfaces;
  
• Accessibility (A11y): Experience with TalkBack, Content Descriptions, and Touch Target optimisation to meet WCAG 2.1+ standards on mobile;
  
• Type-Safe Architecture: Implementation of robust architectures (MVVM or MVI) and dependency injection to ensure a testable, scalable codebase;
  
• Quality & Testing: Experience with automated testing using JUnit, Kotlin Test, and Appium for high-reliability end-to-end user journeys.
