Application Support Engineer

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Application Support Engineer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in similar roles;
  
• Knowledge on both Linux and Windows environments and systems administration;
  
• Experience with BMC/Control-M or other industrial scheduler;
  
• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as: Shell, Python and/or PowerShell;
  
• Experience with JBoss, TomCat, Apache or IIS;
  
• Experience with databases, such as: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server and/or MySQL;
  
• Knowledge of SQL;
  
• Experience with Infrastructure backups and monitoring tools, ideally Zabbix or Grafana;
  
• Knowledge of LDAP, Firewall, Reverse proxy, Active Directory and Kerberos;
  
• Knowledge on container-based infrastructure and networking;
  
• Fluent in English.
