Data Engineer

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to work in this project in Porto or Lisbon (Hybrid).

Requirements:

• More than 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer;
  
• Work experience with GCP, in schema design, writing complex queries (SQL), performance optimization, and cost management in a cloud context;
  
• Solid experience in creating, scheduling, monitoring, and debugging DAGs to orchestrate data flows, particularly for migration and integration processes;
  
• Experience with SQL, SQL Server, and the ability to adapt and optimize SQL for BigQuery.
  
• Experience with Python for developing scripts, migrations, automations, data transformations, and interacting with GCP APIs;
  
• Previous experience with migrating databases from an on-premise environment to a cloud environment;
• Fluent in English.
